Orange Holiday can be purchased online at travel.orange.com (eSIM only), in the Orange stores in mainland France or in specific Relay stores located in airports and train stations.

Your SIM card will be activated once it has been inserted in your phone and connected to the cellular network. The process is automatic, no action is required from you.
Regarding the eSIM version, Orange Holiday will be active once the QR code has been scanned and the phone connected to the cellular network. The process is automatic, no action is required from you.

In order to avoid the unintentional activation of your SIM card or an unwanted usage of mobile data, we recommend to insert the SIM card only when you arrive at your destination.
If you own an eSIM version of Orange Holiday, you can scan it with your phone as soon as you received it by mail. It will only become active once connected to the European cellular network.

Your SIM card is valid for 14 days from the moment of its activation, meaning from the moment the SIM card has been inserted into your phone and that it starts using the cellular network.
If you own the eSIM version of Orange Holiday, the validity of the eSIM is the same, 14 days from the moment you start using the cellular network. During these 14 days, you must identify yourself at Orange.fr.

Yes, mobile hotspot sharing is possible just like with a regular SIM/eSIM.

The SIM format is a classic SIM card compatible with all smartphones. However, you can purchase a digital SIM card (eSIM) on travel.orange.com but please note that only specific phones are compatible with eSIM technology (see next question). If your smartphone can handle eSIM you will only have to scan the QR code received by email and you'll be connected as soon as you land in Europe.

You can track your Orange Holiday usage by dialing #123#. You will receive a text message when you will reach 80% of your data consumption and when you will have used all the data included in the Orange Holiday offer.

You will receive an SMS indicating the complete depletion of your data. You do not risk any out-of-bundle extra cost.

Yes, you can top up your SIM card at any time your SIM card with Holiday World top-up on travel.orange.com

The Holiday World top up contains up to 10GB of Internet depending on the zone. The top-up is valid for 14 days and allows you to keep the same mobile number.

Yes, alls top ups are compatible with all Orange Holiday plans no matter the format you choose, SIM or eSIM.
